The launch of a new crystallography platform in Grenoble opens the door to new technological developments and applications Click here to see the full article...
New CrystalDirect paper published in Acta Cryst D: Automated harvesting and processing of protein crystals through laser photoablation, Zander et al. Acta Cryst. (2016). D72, 454-466
Thanks to the introduction of a new crystallization robot, and the optimization of our protocols, we have managed to reduce the sample volumes needed for crystallization trials !
The HTX lab now offers CrystalDirect plate as standard crystallization plate to enable automated crystal harvesting and in-situ characterization to all users !
A Thermal Shift Assay (TSA) to screen for conditions increasing sample stability is now available at the HTX platform.
New Microfluidic system for crystal optimization available at the HTX lab.
Automated crystal harvesting & remote in-plate characterization now available .
The standard plan for automatic imaging at 20 degree has been modified to adapt to the current workload.
From now on, a total of 5 inspections will be applied to each plate over a period of 12 weeks as follows:
Under BioStruct-X scientists working in publicly funded laboratories of EU member states can submit samples for crystallization to the HTX Lab.
